Message From The Chief
Summerside Station.
The Summerside station has 38 men, 2-1992 Phoenix Pumpers, 1-1991 Emergency Response equipped with the Jaws of Life, airbags, medical equipment and other rescue tools, 1-1973 King Seagrave 65 ft aerial platform (to be replaced in Fall 2001) and a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 used as the chief's vehicle.
The Summerside station has a top-of-the-line Jordair compressed air filling station, ice and water rescue craft equipped with rope and mustange ice rescue suit.
Every vehicle is equipped with 20 SCBAs, stokes basket and extra air bottles.
The Summerside station also has several pieces of antique fire apparatus including:

1931 Ford Ladder Truck equipment with wooden ladders

1883 Steam pumper

1800s hand pumper

The St. Eleanors' station is equipped with 22 Firefighters, and the following:

1987 rescue vehicle equipped with Jaws of Life, air bags, medical equipment, 15 SCBAs and extra air bottles.
